Lights no flashaholic should be without...

How about a list of "Don`t ask, just get it!" lights for newbies, proven cool flashlights that they don`t regret buying later on.

I've been told to get the 4AA version though since it is better.

Ya, I'd have to say that an Arc AAA/LE and Surefire E2e seem to be required around here.

Next, I'd say that some LS is mandatory. In order of popularity, Arc LS, SF KL1, or Badboy/Madmax.

Some kind of headlamp should be mandatory. PT Aurora is the most popular among this crowd.

Honorable mention goes to a 4-AA light. PT40 or one of the UKE variants.

Tigerlight FBOP to sheer firepower.
Tec-40 for brightness and pocketability.
and a Dat2zip Badboy in a brinkmann 2AA legend (love that clicker tailcap, and I threadlocked the head at the focus I want) for EDC.
