Terralux MaxStar5 or Surefire CREE ?

Hey everyone,

I have a Mag 6d which i am looking to upgrade.

Which option would be better? I am mainly after throw:
Terralux Magstar5 with standard mag reflector/lens

or

Cree 5mode replacement bulb/reflector designed for surefires (quoted as 200+ lumens From the emitter) running at 9v

I have access/ability to do all mods required to fit the surefire type bulb

SO! please let me know your opinion !

I would think that the terralux would throw further due to the larger mag reflector.

Are those the only two options you're looking at or are you willing to spend a little more?

Thanks for the replies.

What other options are you suggesting?
the problem is, I live in New Zealand, and have limited options available, or have to pay excessive prices for shipping.
