Rechargeable Household Lights

Power goes off in my area at least twice a year, sometimes for extended periods of time. I'm looking for a decent rechargeable light (quantity 3 or 4) to keep in each bedroom and one for the basement. They will probably get used a couple times a year inside the house only so durability is not much of an issue as reliability. I don't want to spend a fortune if I don't have to but want something that I know is going to come on after sitting in the charger for 6 months. I do have a generator for backup power so the lights are just to find my way to it and for the kids to use until I get home and/or get it fired up.
