Trying to replace the lens on the solarforce R2 but the crenellated bezel just wont unscrew, is it glued?
If so, how do i open it?

i've gotten mine loose,but it takes alot of effort. try a strap wrench and put the head in a plastic jawed vise.

Yeh i thought mine was glued as well but it turned out that it wasnt...after gettin a few cuts on my hands(no blood just skin) i managed to get it off using a foam mouse pad (that ive just replaced along with a new A4tech X7 mouse as my 7yr+ mouse finally died on me this week)

Yeah, I'm able to get mine loose too. It's a little rough on the hands though.

I'd like to make one aspheric ;-)
let us know if you find a good lens (good focal length etc.) sounds interesting.
