While people here at CPF are a small percentage of the total flashlight market, I'd guess that for their numbers, they probably buy a lot of the higher end and custom lights offered. After getting my BitZ, I wondered to myself how many of the 200 units made were purchased by CPFers. So what I'd like to do is compile a list here of people that have them, where they bought them etc., like others have done with Novatacs, Ra Clickies/Twisties, ROPs, Mag85s and other lights. I'll start. Thanks for your help!

I don't know exactly how many Ti units were produced. If I find that info I will try to add in purchasing stats as I did with the Alum version. Feel free to add to the list with your BitZes!


This really is an outstanding EDC light. Great form, superior build quality, memory mode, and a flawless beam! I hope we see more custom creations from HgRyu. Hope you're loving your BitZ! :rock: Thanks HgRyu!!

PS: If you see errors in this info, i.e. I missed you after you posted, let me know. I hope it's all up to date. And also, it's possible that some on this list do not have their light anymore. The only way I know is if someone posts that they have one and bought it from so-and-so. I'll keep it as accurate as I can. Thanks!

I have two - a "regular" production and one with the different, whiter LED.

Edit: Acquired one from the Bitz site and the other from a message in the for B/S/T area.

Hi Tpchan - nice collection of lights. How would you rate the Bitz as a favorite compared to some of your other lights (Novatac, Incendio, NDI). Do you find yourself wanting to carry the Bitz more than the others?

got my BitZ 4th June
very impressed
its got the grippy knurling which feels secure in hand
but also looks fantastic
as mentioned in the other BitZ threads it has
flawless finish
well thought out design and perfect for edc.

imho... don't think about it just buy it

For me the BitZ has replaced the Incendio in my EDC rotation. I normally carry the BitZ and the 120P whenever I leave the house. The 120P might be rotated out with the Twisty-100 or the GatLight Tuxedo, but the BitZ is small enough that it always stays with me. I used to edc the LF2X but that was shoved out of the rotation by the Incendio. If I have extra carry capacity (like I'm wearing a jacket) and I can carry 3 lights then I take the NDI with me -- simply to have a AA light with me. Usually 120P and the BitZ cover me for what I need a light for during daylight hours. Night time is another matter

Due to the close relationship between owners , and the shared funds (probably ) used to buy both BitZs, I will give tessaiga credit for two units. Even if wifey is not a member, she likely has said Bitz because her husband is a member, and she is granted member privileges in this case. :duh2:

I'm more of a lurker than a poster, but I found out about the BitZ on CPF and ordered mine from Lighthound last week.

One more very happy BitZ owner and EDCer. My most expensive flashlight, and only custom I have, but well worth the money. Fantastic piece of kit!
