For my next light I want something with nice flood so I've been thinking about just getting either a 2 C or 2 D maglite(something not too big) and then putting a good led in there. I've heard a few people say that this is one of the best options for getting a good floodlight. So, what is a good drop in for under thirty bucks? I tried a quick google search and only came up with the terralux which I don't know anything about, but it was only 22 bucks and claimed to be 145 lumens, sounded pretty decent.

The Terralix TLE-6EX and an orange peel reflector focused correctly makes an awesome flood light. It's like a wall of very smooth flood, great for illuminating entire rooms. The dropin tends to be a bit on the blue side though. The KD CREE dropin is whiter and brighter, and they have a kit with an aluminum reflector, the dropin, and a glass lens for $37 i think? The reflector needs work in order for it to sit on top of the dropin though. And it takes about 3 weeks to get here.
