Hi guys,

I want to put a GD driver in an E1b to have a single mode pocket rocket. I want to drive it as hard as possible while maintaining a 60 min. runtime. Does anyone know which GD driver will achieve this? I plan to keep the stock emitter and CR123 primary.

If you use a fresh CR123 with a capacity of 1300mAh, a GD1000 would give you the hour that you need. If you want some more "headroom", you could get a GD917.

I agree, GD917 is my favorite. All my GDs are 917 except the ones powering a P7.

Why GD if you want to use primaries only?

Come to think about it... I don't know why a GD. What should I use for this set up that would provide flat regulation? It would of course, need to fit in an E1b head.

BadBoy driver for example. Add a McE2S and you get a nice two-stage setup. :)
