Anyone remember Mr Bulk's LGI Classic? Or how about the Mini LGI? well I still have mine after all these years. My brother gave it to me back in early 2003. It was my first true EDC. My brother & this light are to blame for my addiction here.
This light was very bright for back then. I used to love this light & carried it everywhere! Q2J low dome direct drive off 3xAAA w/ a NX-05 converter. Was bored so I gave it a quick upgrade.
Has a reverse clicky so it's perfect for a multi mode converter. However I didn't want like 24 levels, SOS, locators, morse code, etc. I wanted to be able to use the light without having to figure out which mode I was on. I choose a 2 mode 3xAMC7135 board. High 1A, low 150ma & it also remembers what mode it was last on. Perfect! Now the light is worth using again!
