I went with the SureFire P60L for my G2. The thermal regulation will give me approx 55-60 lumens for upwards of 4 hours.

The link provided by Marduke will help you. You will need to watch out for heat build-up from the higher output LED drop-ins. This can be a particular problem with the G2.
