Hi folks,
This is official sale thread of Prince series.
I have design, test and produce numbers of these flashlights in 3 different version with variety of HA color choices.
Body and head is one piece CNC machined from solid 6160 bar.
Standard bezel is crenelated and takes 40mm high temperature Boro lens.
Standard deep aluminum reflector comes with LOP or HOP
High temp bi pin socket has set screw to hold the G4 WA bulb in place.
All Prince series come with add on turbo head/reflector which is SMO for maximum throw. Turbo bezel is also crenelated and takes 60mm Boro lens.
Simply remove the standard bezel and add the turbo part to get hybrid reflector for soft beam and far throw. Second picture shows how it works.
2x18500 and 2C version comes with installed WA1111 and do not need battery holder but 3x17670 uses battery holder similar to this and is included.
All of them share same forward clickie switch, switch boot, reflector, 40mm bezel, 40mm Boro lens, Turbo head, turbo bezel, turbo Boro and o'rings.
They are pretty well water resistance but not submersable.

Third picture shows comparison of $urefire M6 and 3x17670 red HA Prince with turbo head.
All switches, boots and 40mm lenses are same as these.

I dont know if this will help but I have used 5761 in my regular 2x C Maglite with 2x C AW Li-ions without any problems and without any modifications other than the alloy reflector, glass lens, extender and bi-pin adaptor.

For optimum reflection, bulb opening is designed for Welch Allyn bulbs and 5761 is too large to fit reflector opening.

It's a moot point given fivemega's comment, but...

The resistance in the stock Mag switch and spring (especially the latter) is sparing your bulb. LuxLuthor's tests show 7.9V is enough to flash a 5761, so two fresh Li-ion's are too much without sufficient resistance and/or an NTC or some other soft start mechanism. I wouldn't count on the 2C Prince having as much resistance as a 2C Mag, since the Price's tail spring (assuming there is one) and switch are one assembly.

Good point, I know that I loose about 1.1V in resistance in my 2x C Maglite, this has been measured. Not sure what the resistance will be on the 2x C Prince, I don't have my meter with me on my US visit so I will not be able to measure it, perhaps someone else may be able to help us out here. I don't have the unit yet and do not know the design, I have no idea if the reflector could be altered to accept the 5761. Personally I will leave it alone and use the WA1111 as I like the combination with the 2x C cells for output and run time.

Man these look so cool, although I don't know that I could carry around that 3xCell body, looks too undulated =)

How did you get those cool colors in HA? That's so neat. Is it equivalent in hardness and wear resistance to natural HAIII?

FM, is the 3x17670 Prince machined to only work with that battery pack or could it fit other similarly sized battery packs? (that is packs without a charging jack?) Thanks.
