I just noticed that on my G2 the beam is not exactly centered. I saw some previous post stated that it's normal and manufactures try their best to ensure centered beam. I took some shots to compare it with my e2dl.

I can clearly see that e2dl produces nice and round spot :naughty: as opposed to g2 which is a little oval..should i say?

It doesn't bother me since I don't stare at it. I was just wondering as to what causes this and all incans are this way?

I think its normal,

Ive gone through 4 or 5 Sf p60 lamps and they are all much the same, some may be slightly more oval than another, but its hard to tell.

Doesnt bother me either, especiall when you compare it to a mag or something.:)

The SF P90 and P91 lamps look oval when shined on a wall. The P60 and P61 look round.

I think this happen because the light comes from an orizontal filament...

G2 and 6P use same lamp assembly. Beam shape is luck of the draw to some extent, but in most cases expect incans to have a bit of an oblong shaped beam as it is simply projecting the shape of the filament.
