I have read several thing about this flashlight: SureFire Ub2 Invictus.
It seems, that SureFire (not only optical) wants to provide an alternative for the Blackhawk Gladius / Insight Typhoon I + II, but added the most actual light technology available.
The annoucnements about the output I found were realy amazing: 400 lumens (on max)! And it is said, that it has the disorienting strobe that I really like.
The only thing, I do not like, is the fact, that the selectorring is placed at the head of the flashlight. If I would use it along with a gun, I have to choose the output-level before I take out the gun. That's not really optimal in my opinion!
Does anybody know, when the Invictus will be released? What will the price be?
Does anybody know SF - alternatives (bright, tactical strobe, good UI that should be manageable with one hand only)? Can someone modd a SF light to fullfill my needs?
