Was anyone else shocked to see Surefire E1 & E2 for sale at Cabelas retail stores and their on-line store? I asked the clerk if she had sold many E2's, she said dozens. Then she asked me what was so special about them- so I "enlightened her".

Mass market Surefire, Yikes! What's next Walmart?

I am both surprised, and pleased that surefire is going after a larger market. I just hope their qc doesn't suffer.

Hate to say it but...(and esp. if they come out with lights that use something other than 123s) watch out Mag!

But on the other hand, maybe if 123 flashlights become common place (This means other than on CPF

) 123 batteries will come down in price. Oh how nice it would be to be able to purchase 10-packs of 123s for $10 at Lowes or what not...
