I like small, bright and simple lights with a clear white
beam, more flood than throw.
I use my lights mostly indoors for some inspections.
My favourites are Surefire E1e (mod) and Novatac 85 T.
Now, at the end of my 3rd. semester here on the
CPF-University, I wanted to make a complete light.

The plan

The parts
- aluminium AL Cu Mg Pb
- silver 925/1000 (heatsink)
- gold 999/1000 (+contact)
- Lens 19 mm, hardened and coated
- reflector McR18S
- Seoul P4 USWOH
- driver GD 1000
- clip, stainless steel
- 3 screws stainless steel, inbus 2 mm
- McClicky
- tailcap 14 mm
- 3 O-rings

Very nice.

It looks like you have a future as a flashlight designer/manufacturer if you would choose to do so.

Your English is fine. Your pictures are great, too.

Incredible light Energie!

I guess the only thing I may have made different (not that I would be able to do such work at all :) ) would be the reflector. I guess I´d choose a McR20 to have the bezel diameter about the same size as the widest part of the head.

Once again: Richtig geile Lampe ist das geworden! Respekt!

The last thing I need is another small light BUT I'd be very tempted to buy one if you made a run. Very nice indeed.

Thanks all!

nanotech17:
the McClicky fits into the tailcap threat (surefire e-series
compatible).

Eric242:
The McR20S reflector is visible better than the McR18S.
I´ve used the McR20S for a couple of mods.
But I wanted a light as small as possible.

:eek:oo: Energie, nice!!

I was just rereading your old E1e mod to get some ideas for my own mod.
Looks like you've jumped a few semesters ahead at CPF'U' :D

Any palns to get it anodized?

Thanks necomane,

if you take a closer look at the light-engine, you´ll see,
that I´ve read your very interesting thread about modding
the E1e more than twice, especially the heatsink-details:
https://www.candlepowerforums.com/threads/165685

I have no plan to anodize the light, because this sort of
aluminium is quite hard.
The parts were not protectet during the machining,
but no marks found.
