Can't get E1B head open.....

Argh. I don't want to mar the head. I'm using rubber strap wrenches and trying to heat it up with a hairdryer. I get that little sucker pretty hot and it still wont budge. Any suggestions so I don't destroy the thing?

just know you arent the first one that had a lot of issues. my friend just bought an e1b form someone and it has some serious plier teeth marks in the bezel from when the original owner tried to get it open, but didnt succeed. just be careful

You can also try putting it in the freezer for a few hours, but make sure you let it "defrost" before you try to get it apart.
