Turbo or battery drainer

I'm thinking of picking up a surefire 6p led with a turbohead conversion in the fall. Does the turbohead jsut focus the beam without touching the battery life or will it decrease battery life?

The turbohead uses an incandescant lamp. It will not work with the P60L that's installed in your 6PL now.

I don't know what the battery life is like with it...

battery life is about the same as the regular incan, i.e. short.
