I almost purchased the larger UFO at one time but the Cree and P4 based pocket light because so small and efficient that I decided they could be used for the same purposes. Also, the Cree LED aren't nearly as blue as the 5mm Nichia LEDs.

I was thinking about ordering one of these myself. Mainly just as a camping light to use when reading at night as I'm prone to do. I use a Hennessey Hammock and have in the past used a River Rock Lantern as my reading light hung from the guy wire that runs through the top just below the bug netting. problem is, its bulky and hangs down too low as room is minimal inside the hammock.
