I just had to share with the modified gang, i hope incandescents check here out aswell.

Jesus did an awesome job cutting, threading and boring a 5D into a 3D.
Lux welded 18x1500 Elite high discharge cells for this build.
Jimmy built it, engineering the electronics, insulation and testing.

He creates a soft start with the JM-SST, so that the voltage would creep up on 20V, not at the point of flashing the bulb. The duty cycle is set to 85.5%

On a fresh pack, sreaming hot off the charger, the JM-SST creeps up on 21V.
In testing that thing, I was reminded exactly how bright the 458 is.
During testing, I had to double and triple check my measurements because "the pack voltage can't POSSIBLY be holding that steady!" For about 3 minutes, it refused to go below ~21V.
