I got a new Novatac 120T today. Right out of the box, the battery was dead and needed to be changed. I put a fresh battery in and it worked fine. Does this light consume power when turned off?

My 120P also shipped with a dead battery. Consequentially, It turned out to be a defective switch.

If it's indeed 3 uA like the other post indicated, 35 years. The shelf life of lithium cell is 10 years so the power used is not significant.

Thats good news. Still wondering why the battery was dead when I got it though...
