I'm just wondering if anyone knows exactly what alloy of Al the new nitecore lights are made of? :thinking:

I believe it is 7075, as opposed to the 6061 used in most aluminium torches. It's harder, but maybe slightly more brittle.

I guess I should have been more specific, is it 7075-T0 or 7075-T6? Something else?

It's almost surely T6 or T561

I thought a minute and emailed the manufacturer. Manufacturer says.....
