The Frankenrock!

I got bored so I started looking around for something to mod. I had one of those Lowes Taskforce 2 C Cree lights that worked pretty good but I really didn't like the host much. I also had one of those River Rock 2 C wimpy somekind of emitter with a lens of some sort that was just wasting space around here. The third light was a AAP 2 C light that really needed help. Hmmm... I wonder? Well, after a little looking, dissecting, figuring, machining and tweaking, I ended up with a River Rock body, Task Force light engine/optic, and a AAP bezel. The leftover parts went back into the TF body awaiting another mod someday. The RR body is a lot more beefy than the other two, has a side clicky, and can tailstand. Besides that I like the looks better. It still has the same beam as the TF due to using the same parts/driver. I am also using a 18650 li-ion in a custom acrylic adapter I made.
