L2D head on a L1P body?

Hi everyone. I've just ordered an L2D Q5 and I know it can be used on an L1D body. However, I was wondering if anyone knows if the L2D Q5 head would be compatible for use with the body of my old L1P?

P.S. Whilst I'm here.....I'm visiting Las Vegas and Moab next month (I live in the UK) and was wondering does anyone know if there is a dealer of Maxpedition products in either of these cities?

I can never remember correctly but I believe that the L1/L2D is not compatable with the L1P.

The body/head of the L1D/L2D/P2D are interchangeable.
Not the L2P though.

If I recall correctly, the threads are different between the "D" and "P" series.

Unfortunately, the L2D head will not fit the L1P or L2P bodies. The tailcaps, however, will interchange.

As everyone has already said, no it won't work due to different threads.

IIRC the tailcaps are also a bit tight when you use the L1P/L2P/L1T/L2T(Luxeon I/III versions) on the newer bodies.
