OK. So I know Streamlight makes some fine lights, but I've got to send my Sidewinder in now for the second time in less than 6 months for repair. First time it just died. Sent it in, waited 3 weeks and got it back saying they replaced the circuit board.
Now I've lost the blue and green LEDs. White and red work fine but no green or blue.
I really love the light for low level hight use. Having 3 colors and 4 levels is great and the runtime is nice too, but it's no use to me when I have to keep sending it back for repair. I dead when the 1 year warranty comes up but if it breaks agian I'll point out that it was never fixed properly the first time. It's not like I'm abusing the thing. I use it around the house and out on the deck. while stargazing.
So are there any other multi color/multi mode lights out there like this? If so I might pick one up because in this instance Streamlight really sold me a lemon.
