I am building up a few dual Cree r2 lights using a buckpuck driver and an spdt switch with resistors to give different light levels and since it is a bike light I want to make sure it is reasonably water resistant.
The buckpuck appears to be well sealed but I am wondering if there would be a problem if I 'potted' the switch terminals and resistors in a high temp silicon sealant to keep the possibility of a short to a minimum. Any thoughts?
