I was looking at Battery Station's website and noticed there was a a Ra-IR-T. Is this an infrared model?

You know... I actually wanted to buy one of these... .. I have an IR CMG Infinity which I use to bolster my video cameras "Night Shot" system... I suspect that the Twisty would be many times more powerful than a little 5mm LED that's in the CMG... If that were the case, along with 3 different levels output, I think it'd be a really awesome torch....

I never gave it a section on the Registry... should I?
Did anyone buy one yet?
Comments on the beam, effective distance, runtime?

I know that if I weren't dependent on controlling my cash flow, I'd have purchased one already. I'm saving for the Ra Clicky instead...

So, if anyone here purchased one, speak up! :nana:

They are 850nm. Here is what Henry said about them:

"They are ITT NVG compatible. I can easily light up objects half a block away even in a city environment with lots of stray light. The light works wonderfully for seeing into dark shadows in an urban environment - a favorite hiding place for the bad guys." :)
