WAAAAHHHHHHH!

i'd better get the Wings some Geritol, as you suggested earlier! maybe a walker, cane, depends, viagra and lot's of Ben Gay.

boy, they couldnt get ANYTHING together, and Aneheim was HOT! their net minder Giguere was faultless...impressive.

i will expect Dallas to mow down Edmonton, but they (Edmonton) are hanging on for dear life. of course, Colorado, St Louis and New Jersey are doing well.

i would think the strongest contenders would be Dallas and Colorado--that would be one helluva series.

Ducks fan checking in.

I thought the Wings were possibly fodder with the change in skippers, net minder and the age of the players. The Ducks had great matchups but a hot goalie is what carries all good playoff teams.

The stats show the Wings with greater SOG than the Ducks but the Ducks made the most of their fewer opportunities. The Wings are still respected and no one can argue with their consistent placing in the standings and their overall points every year.

While I'm elated by the sweep, the overtime games just show that hockey continues to be the greatest postseason sport!

The Ducks might have up to a week off and they'll need it.

I think Dallas has the inside edge but the Avs would be formidble.

sorry bob, couldn't resist. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif no hard feelings /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

i'm a little concerned about edmonton, they're playing tough. hopefully the stars have gotten it together and will take them down at home.

juguerre carried the ducks. all games were by one goal. without their netminding the ducks don't win this one. wings outshot the ducks every game, they hit the cross bar and uprights i don't know how many times. cujo struggled too much during the season, i don't think he's the answer to their net.

they remind me of the washington redskins a few years ago, so much talent and no productivity. the only time i've seen it work is in basketball, the dream team.
