Those are some nice flashlights!

I envision some custom flashlights stubbed with Tritium vials in my future.

Finally installed the Tritium vial in the tailcap of my custom blacklight flashlight.

Now, the filed Tritium slot may not be the most glamorous thing but I did take my time in doing so with needle files slowly and carefully. There is one tiny air bubble, but I am not too worried, as long as I can see the green light from the Tritium vial.

Okay, Jeff Hanko SWM light I bought (trits in body) then added trit cooling fins and a trit e-switch. The person who bought it from me declined having me change out the bezel for a trit bezel...

10 trits around tail (red / blue)
9 trits around body (red)
6 trits in e-switch
36 trits in cooling bezel

61 tritium vials

Pictures I just took.

Modded the Convoy S2+ Nichia 219c flashlight the Spartan-style. I decided to install three of the 2x6mm Tritium vials atop the 45 degree TIR (total internal reflection) lens for usage in astronomy - the flashlight do indeed have all five LED brightness modes, including the moonlight mode.



(The picture was taken with ASUS ZenPad Z10 tablet with ISO set to 800 - if anyone wants, I can retake the picture of this flashlight in 100% darkness with the DSLR camera.)

EDITED: Whipped out my Nikon D3400 DSLR camera out and took better picture of the Tritium vial glows through the TIR lenses.

(10 seconds shutter at ISO 400, in total darkness except for a bit of leaked light from Sodium vapor street lamps - the green light captured here is from three Tritium vials installed within.)
