Does anyone know how switching modes in the P3D would work with a forward clicky? I'm thinking of picking one up, as I could use the momentary function more than tail standing, but if makes cycling through the modes odd, then I guess it's not worth it.

Your have to switch modes before your turn it fully on. When on your can not switch modes, but have to turn it off first.

Instead of being "click-on>press-to-change-mode>press-to-change-mode>press-to-change-mode" it will be "press-to-change-mode>press-to-change-mode>press-to-change-mode>click-on"

Just got a forward tactical switch for my L2D... works as LukeA describes.

My only gripe is it has a weird, pointy feel to it, like the switch mechanism is about to poke through the rubber boot. Not sure if the switch shaft itself is narrower than usual or the boot is thinner than usual. Guess I'll get used to it.
