Infinity Ultra and Ultra G differences clarified

I've e-mailed CMG two months ago. Here is a portion of the reply from a CMG representative.

"The US Government model is hard anodized... Other than that, they are exactly the same light."

The only other differences are the case color, engraving, and packaging. The Ultra-G does not come with any accessories.

Which Ultra do you mean? And the bonuses? Let me add a bit more detail. The Infinity Ultra costs a bit more and comes packaged with a lanyard and pocket clip. The Ultra G costs less, at $15, is Type III Hard Anodized, and is engraved "US Government". The LED for both models is the luck of the draw.

Is this then deliberate FALSE advertizing?

(disclaimer: my understanding is that County Comm is a very reputable vendor)

It may be semantics -
BUT the Ultra-G is government listed as NSN: 6230-01503-9513
- the plain Ultra is not.

I think the Ultra-G has the NSN because of it's better anodizing.

ULTRA-Gs sold at www.countycomm.com are hand picked. Not every ULTRA-G that comes in the door goes out. This subject is very old. I recommend looking at old threads and reviews. Satisfied clients and their comments speak loudest. Frank
