From what I've seen with the larger size Dazzler the beam is wider and more divergent than it would be in a typical laser. The same holds true for this device.
0.45 degrees = 7.853981634 mrd.

Could that be part of the reason for the 6K price tag. It's hard to make lasers floody-ish?
Must make drunk-suppression laser.... :sick2:

B.E. Meyers make some of the MOST precise and high quality lasers in the world, thats the reason for the high price tag. Basically no one out side of the military gets their paws on B.E. Meyer lasers.

Sounds nice. Makes me wish I had the 6k to throw around. I'd tell all the drunks it's a lightsaber. It would go something like this.
"You know that movie Starwars, by George Lucas will all the dudes in PVC suits? That's actually an Discovery Channel documentary about my life. I AM your father. Now be a good boy and leave my bar. Before I have to melt your eyeballs or use the force choke."
All the bouncers could have storm-trooper suits, It would be awesome.

Drunk people will believe anything...
