Hi,

I am new in this forum and I would like to ask if it would be possible to make a powerful slide projector with a high luminous output (110,000-240,000 lumens) with a light source of Ultra Bright leds instead of HMI lamps?

It is possible? Or still is very expensive compared to HMI lamps?

that is a LOT of lumens. Normal incan projectors do about 1000-3000 lumens for home theater you are talking in the range of a huge searchlight using magnesium with a high power generator at that rate. The most powerful LEDs cannot do even 1000 lumens yet for a single one I think the P7 is 600 lumens?

Hardly, unless you were to use a LOT of LED's.
There are LED (+DLP) projectors (video, not slide) out there, as well as a few laser based ones on the horizon. The laser ones are pretty cool as they don't require focusing :D
