Square M2?

Just saw this pic at Triple Aught Design of a square M2! I have never seen one of these before. Mine is round on the bottom.
Is this the way surefire is going to make all the new ones?

BTW I do remember that in the back of the new 2002 sf catalog they had a computer drawing of a C2 with the same body.

It's a Special "Strider" Edition featuring the Strider Knives Logo.

When SureFire not only brings out a Special Edition, but also modifies the design of one of their models, it means that Strider must be a Special company worth the effort.

Shelby Chan's Strider photos have convinced me, and a certain someone carrying what I can only describe as a "you had better not get caught with that" Strider, has shown me that Striders & SureFires can be carried in clipped inside the same pocket knowing that you have a pair of superb tools from a pair of superb companies.
