-Five Mega's Elephant II Host in Gun Metal Gray
-Welch Allyn's 10w Solarc HID system overdriven to 14 watts.
-Custom 18650 Dummy Cell swith spring loaded tip to fit all the different length cells sold.
-Approximately 600 lumens of light and is a throw monster, hundreds of yards is not a problem

1) Unit with Smooth Reflector *SOLD*
2) Unit with LOP Reflector

Note Reflector is a perfect fit on these. Be careful if you uncrew the head. These where assembled with empty heads, reflector and bezel was intalled last.

This does look very nice!!

Whats the current draw on these when driven to 14W & how long will the "lamp" last...and I take it it can't handle the fourth cell?

The Current draw is right around 1.2amps. The lamps is rated for 1000 hours normally overdriven I do not have a clue. I have built this same stlye setup for 2+ years and not had a lamp failure. I even had one customer driving it with 4 of the 3v rechargable's not knowing they where 3.6v fully charged for a year!

Very nice... the first commercial use of a Elephant II body... or at least the first that I have seen...

Mac.. just checking... can I use one of these heads on your traditional 3 X 17670 mini HIDs??

I have no idea if the lamp will focus in the reflector you have. Reflectors have had different focal points in the past.
