well what is the current that is usually fed in the K2 emitters? 1.2A or 1.6-1.8?

Just wanted to know before I make a mod suggestion...

To get the most out of the K2 you would want to push it with 1.5A.

teh how about moddinga K2 P60 Module with a P7????

The circuit in the P60 modules are already being stressed at 1A. Efficiency is in the 60's. You do not want to mod those to go any higher. In fact, the most sensible modification to those modules is to drop the current to about 700mA. Besides, the P7 is better suited to a bigger host like a Mag 2C or 2D. And don't use those crappy converters from DX or KD. When you're talking almost 3A at 3.6V, you want the best efficiency you can get. So far, all of the converters that I've seen for the P7 are crap.

I agree with what CM said above.

By the time you spend money on the cheap converters, wait for shipping, and hope you don't have any that fail. You could have had a good converter and be done.
