Amazing. I just spent 20 minutes browsing the site and I'm blown away. Burt Rutan is an absolute genius and has been for 20+ years. Going back to his VariEze days, then Voyager, Grizzly, and beyond, he's always found creative, yet practical solutions that eclipse everyone bound by conventional aeronautical thinking. And now this just takes the cake. Wow!

I was fortunate enough to see Bob Pond's/Burt Rutan's "Pond Racer" in the 1991 Reno Air Races. Fantastic plane! It crashed in 93 and took veteran race pilot Rick Brickert with it. Rutan certainly has some innovative designs!
