I'm thinking about buying the Olight T15 (the new 2008 version), because I need a AA light.

Convince me I need this light or convince me against it and provide a counter-example (another light).

Provide any positive or negative experiences you've had with the T15 (or with other AA lights).

Pictures/beamshots are welcome. :twothumbs

Thanks.

I use a t10 with a t15 battery tube. It's my main edc light.Bright enough, cheap batteries, long runtime in low mode which is bright enough for most uses. Inexpensive too!

How's the throw? I've heard it has a pretty tight beam for a small AA light.

The throw is awsome for such a small light. It doesn't have alot of flood
but enough for what you would generally use a pocket light for.

That's exactly what I wanted, a pocket AA thrower. I'm planning on using it primarily outdoors for distance illumination that my Streamlight Microstream and Arc P can't handle and use them for the floody, close up stuff.

Would it be possible for you to take a beamshot at about 20-50 feet, in either a backyard or a long hallway, maybe including another light for reference?

I would appreciate it.
