Outside of custom fabrication, might I recommend a Leef setup?

I use a single 18650 in my 6P conversion with a Malkoff M60F drop-in. It's rather majestic all told. Your 18500's would fit just fine in there with a little bit of rattle, or you could give in to the 18650's, which I did after a bit of an internal struggle. :)

The custom guys could do a custom body for you, but I'm sure you'd end up paying more than the ~$50 for the Leef body, though it may be more of exactly what you're looking for in the end.

Bore out your 6P to 18mm and pick up a 1 cell 18mm extender. Even a cheapy Solarforce one will do.

I bought two of his 2x18650 tubes for my 6P's, and they work like a champ.

It may seem expensive, but it's a one-time expense. Once you've set up your 6P to run on 2x18650's, you'll get your money back soon enough by not having to buy anymore CR123 batteries.
Plus, runtime is extended a LOT.

I even like the extra overall length of the 6P with that tube. It has good balance in the hand.
I like the setup so well that I'm thinking of getting a couple more...
