KaiDomain Mag Drop-In Question

I'm having the hardest time determining if the KaiDomain MagLite LED Drop-In Module fits "D" or "C" or both battery type models?

Can anyone answer this for me?

Doesn't C and D mag have the same head? I'm not sure.

Okay nevermind, it's the battery tube, kai's is probably for D only.

I believe that the 'C' and 'D' mags have the same head, but the Malkoff drop-in is such that it will fit one and not the other. You have to order specifically for the 'D' or 'C'. I just don't know if this applies to the KD version, and I can't seem to find out by 'searching' or from the KD site, which appears to be down.

Nevermind, Folks.

I was just now able to log in to KaiDomain.com, and it clearly states that the module is for D-Cells, only.

Not exactly, they have to match different body diameters.

They only share reflectors and lenses.

Um, the outside part unscrews to fit C Mags. The thermal connection isn't as good as with a D Mag, but it should be decent.
