They should call [Link removed by moderator] THE VAMPIRE, I would buy one if not for the weak Aussie dollar vs The Greenback. :broke:

Perhaps DX should start selling these at discounted prices!

GB anyone?

No kiddin'. :eek:oo:
The first thing that came to my mind when I saw it was "ice pick".
At least they include a more civilized bezel ring along with the "fangs".
Did you catch the model number "X666"? It's Satan in a flashlight!

I gotta LOL at the name... Spiderfire? Does every flashlight have to have "fire" at the end of its name? :nana:

Its a pretty mean looking light though.

Anyone know if that light is compatible with Surefire C series
It would make a great addition to my Lego set :D

That light looks vicious, one of the first self defense flashlights I'd actually believe to be useful.

I wonder what voltage it can be run on and whether you can replace the tailcap for one mode.

18650 and a Surefire tailcap, perfect.

EDIT:

I wonder if it's P60 compatible, that would be a pretty intimidating light with a Malkoff M60 in it.

This sure wouldn't be very useful as a pocketable light unless you wanted to raise the pitch of your voice by a couple of octives.

I like mine better. Its not just the Malkoff M60 or M60F that I pop in there, or the Uniq continuously variable tailcap that I can set to any brightness level, its the cool accessories it comes with (the little knife next to it).

Yeah, I wish it were all in black, but what are you gonna do.

The best part is that when I reach for it, its right there, not on some HK website far far awayyyyyyyyyyyyyy. :D

Hmm, obviously a knowledgeable seller!

I'm really interested and going to keep an eye out for these.

Yeah, the meaner bezel may mostly be good just for show...I mean, I can't imagine carrying it like that. But what is interesting me is that it appears it might be a "instant lego kit" all in one flashlight.

Not sure if it is so, but if the body is capable of a one cell (the other two parts look like a straight extender and a detonator extender), then it could make a really nice poor-man's 3P clone. Drop in one of the 3 volt capable incandescent or LED assemblies, and could be a good EDC light.

My 2 cents!

Eric
