Just wondering what you folks prefer... If you could only have ONE: Guard or no guard?

I have both sleeves, but the no guard version seems to fit in my pocket a bit better, so that's what I have been using.

I like the guard better both because of the extra protection and I like to clip it to the inside of my pocket. It also feels better in my hand.

While the size of the no guard is appealing, to deny any PD torch a McGizmo clip is simply cruel and unusual punishment.

Guard w/death grip clip for me please!:twothumbs

I have both, and I definitely prefer the guarded sleeve. I've been carrying this light with the clip for nearly a year now, and I really, really enjoy the clip. For me, the clip not only makes it easier to carry (I prefer belt carry to pocket carry), it also makes it fit my hand better, since the light is so compact.

I have both also and prefer the guard. It's much easier to grip.

I saw that Arc has Guarded sleeves for sale without the Arc6 just wondering, are they threaded for E-series? I really like the Guarded design.
I know the piston may present compatibility issues.

I definetly like the Unguarded version more.

1) easier to press the piston
2) easier to hold in hand (clip does not get in way)
3) smaller and lighter

I think guarded version looks better though.

If by E-series you mean the SF lights, then, based on my samples, I'd have to say no. The threads on the head of my E1e are female, while the threads on the head of my Arc6 are male.
