Hello,do you want a honest opinion on the Jetbeam pro ultra.
Here it is,for starters it is a thrower, but I did not get mine with the SMO .
it came with the OP installed :ohgeez:
That said it out preforms the CHI and D-mini 15% approx :)
this may increase, when I get my SMO reflector:)

The LE seems glued on mine, not what jetbeam said when it was announced,or maybe it is just very, very tight hmmm.

The color on mine is not uniform, the tail cap is lighter grey, this does not bother me.

Now for throw ,
I own a DBS nuff said, and IMHO the jet is no slouch :thumbsup:but the DBS will out throw the ultra easily.
put it this way,if you need a light that will throw light 250 meters (approx) and have the ability to go low (2 lumens)
it has to be one on the list
IMHO

Thanks for the mini review, you are the first user to post one!

Any beamshots comparing it to the D-Mini, since it is another known thrower

Thanks!

Hi, TITAN I agree with you, I.M.H.O like I have already said :

I can confirm that the battery tube is larger on the ST and Ultra, the Ultra gets about 10% extra throw over the standard Jet-III Pro but with OP reflector not much more, the ST version is a very good 18650/ flashlight for EDC, nice transition between spill and spot, much more compact than the Jet-III Pro but with inferior output.

As usual the choice of the model depends from the final use, at any rate the new models are very nice.

(The DBS is a pure thrower, Dereeligth are totaly different flashlights).

Can you comment about the color of the HAIII? Is it uniform or do we have diferent shades between the bezel, body and tailcap? That was something I didn't like in the manufacturer's picture.

Awaiting the beamshots.

Thanks!

Hey Titan sorry but I don't understand what you are referring to when you say the LE is glued on. What is a LE? Sorry I've searched and I can't figure it out.:)

Hi AlexGT,

the color of the HAIII is uniform, fortunately no different shades between the bezel, body and tailcap.

Glad to hear you two are enjoying your new Jetbeams.

JKL - Can you comment on your preference between the Ultra and the ST models. Overall, which do you prefer?
