Hi. right now I have a charger : MAHA MH-C204W. it says2000mA for AA and 700mA for AAA

I have eneloops 2000.

but I also bought Sanyo 2500mAh batteries.

will my charger charge the Sanyo 2500 to their max?

is my charger safe for my eneloop? I read something about over heating them?

if my charger isn't good for my 2500, what charger would you recommend for my batteries?

I'm sorry I'm not too good in electronics... and numbers...

thanks for your time

stef, Montreal.

I Googled for maha c204w, and on following the first result I found this page:

http://www.thomas-distributing.com/maha-powerex-mh-c204w-nimh-battery-charger-faq.htm

On that page are found these questions and answers:

Will it charge higher capacity batteries?

Yes. As a matter of fact, this charger was designed not only to charge any capacity of NiMH batteries, it will charge with up to a 98%+ efficiency. An industry first.

Will the MH-C204W charge the new ENELOOP rechargeable batteries from SANYO ?

Yes it will and with absolute precision. The MH-C204W has been thoughly tested with the new SANYO ENELOOP rechargeable batteries.
Hope this helps :)
