does anyone know if a magcharger lens is the same size as the plastic lens in my 2D mag.

Also can i get a little confirmation on this

Going to buy a 5 cell magnum bulb and AA to D size holders my calculations are

1.2x3 = 3.6

multiply by 2 =7.2 volts

so a bulb for a five cell mag would be OK to be powered by 7.2 volts yeah

or should i get a 4 cell bulb and overdrive it, just trying to shine some new light into my old mag

according to Flashlightlens.com's spec chart they're all 52.1mm and interchangable. I'd go for a pyrex/borofloat lens for the heat stability, though any glass should be okay.

52.1mm Maglite® C&D, MagCharger, LEDBEAM 3-C 2.00mm Borofloat® Yes 94%

52.1mm Maglite® C&D, MagCharger, LEDBEAM 3-C 1.90mm UCL® blue tint AR Yes 99%
