Regarding WMD, there appears to be little evidence so far that Saddam had much; however, based on the economic hardship he caused the country and the hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people that died needlessly during his tenure, I say it's good that he's gone.
It's too bad that the UN couldn't agree on firm action a long time ago, leaving it to the US and the UK to solve the problem.
During the coming years while Iraq opens the oil wells again to rebuild their country, we'll benefit from lower gas prices. For a while, OPEC will be less able to manipulate price and supply.
I'm hopeful that the human rights situation improves in the Arab world, particularly for women.
