I'm looking for a flashlight for a good friend, something a bit different and at least a bit impressive. I use an original D-Mini as my EDC (along with an Extreme Micro), and I was thinking about picking up one of the new versions (http://www.batteryjunction.com/digital-lumapower-dmini.html) for my friend (and maybe another for me). I know most non-flashaholics would be better served with an AA or 2AA light, so I figured I'd pick up the 2AA tube as well.
The downside is that this is probably an expensive combination. The upside is that I really like dealing with Battery Junction and I need to place an order anyways (for a bunch of these http://www.batteryjunction.com/niledandfiop.html) so I'd like to stick with Battery Junction.
Should I be looking at something else?
