In the "grand scale", they're two of the best. The SSC P4 in the Surefire combines high efficiency with the ability to produce very smooth beams. With the K2 TFFC, Lumileds managed to put out an emitter that has a consistantly warm tint. It doesn't get the same lumens per mA as the SSC, but the tint makes it a good compromise for us warm LED fans.
