Is this safe?

I was using Duracell's 2450 batteries in My 3xAA LED Minimag, which has aloud me to make some use for this light again. Well anyway when I ran the batteries down I went to charge them in my cheap Duracell charger. Problem? It won't charge only 3. It's red light will only come on with 2 or 4 "I was guessing this would happen". So I stuck the closes metal object I could find in the last slot. Sure enough the light turned on and it started charging. I left it on my fire resistant lockbox overnight. When I woke the green light came on and they semmed charged:thumbsup:. So It seems to work alright one time, but is it safe to continue to do so.

No, the lone cell in the 3rd slot is being hideously overcharged with double the voltage.

Get a 4-channel smart charger, they aren't expensive.
