hiya guys

I used the search function and came away VERY confused...

My Fenix L1P just decided to give up the ghost...

Not really sure what happened, but alas I need a new light

My humble query is thus....I want something as powerful or more powerful for a good price in a similar size...

First thought was just to buy another L1P

Any suggestions??

Welcome to CPF, Leatherface. Lots of great lights to choose from, and we always need something new, but make sure your L1P is really DOA. If you haven't given every contact a good cleaning yet, that might cure your problem. A Q-tip, rubbing alcohol, and maybe a pencil eraser have fixed many a light. Good luck.

If you don't get a spare, go for the L1T V2.0. 2 mode, forward clickie, and AA batteries. 8% off coupon at Fenix Store is "CPF8". If you are in the US, you can also try contacting Fenix Store to see what they can do with your L1P.

The L1D-CE is not an updated L1P. The L1P hasn't been updated from what I know.

The L1D is a multimode light with two light groups. Tighten the head and it is in The Turbo group, where you can switch between Turbo and Strobe by tapping the switch. With the head loosened it is in General group, where you can switch from low to medium to high to SOS by tapping the switch.

The Nitecore D10 might work for you.
