OK. I have a CH-V6988 IC-Controlled 10 Channels Smart Charger for my AA batteries. Do I need a Maha MH-C9000? I'm having a crisis here.

If you're asking if you 'need' something, and you expect a fair and honest answer, you've really come to the wrong place! Has any 'Do I need...." thread ever ended financially well for anyone around here? 
As for the C9000 though, it's a great charger, I doubt very much that you would regret the purchase.
