I have a déjà-vu here...

There's already a thrad from another poor guy with a TK11 with the same problem.

I'm gonna try if my TK10 still works as it should!

I did have the same effect with mine when trying to use it with 3.7v rechargeables (16340).
Checked around and found in the following thread that supported voltage is only up to 6v:

In fact, it works well with 18650 (3.7v) and 2 x CR123 (6.0v) or 2 x 16340 3v (6.0v) rechargeables, but NOT with 2 x 16340 3.7v (7.4v)!

So maybe you're using 2 x 16340 3.7v?

P.S:

just wondering how Mev can have done even runtime tests with the TK11 on "2x 16340 750mAh AW Protected" as AFAIK these do have 3.7v:

Maybe there are different batches of the light...? :(

It does indeed sound like the batteries are drained.

What batteries are you using?

CR1234 Bats, but when the bats are low the torch must give a 'low light indication' right?

Clean off the top of the battery tube and the high mode contact ring.

After that it's the battery.. If not it's a shipping date to 7777's land.

I had the same problem a couple weeks ago. Tried everything to fix it but could only get the low mode to work. Finally gave up and sent it back for a new one. Great warranty policy. Thanks Fenix :grin2:

I've seen somewhere an official information from fenix that TK11 supports 2x3.7V RCR123 batteries. I use them in mine without any problems.

TK11 doesn't have low battery warning. Just get some fresh batteries and it should work fine.
